Preserve Object Data/Property Sets while converting 2D to 3D polylines

When converting a polyline - which includes Object Data and/or Property Sets - from 2D to 3D polyline, the OD/PS are lost. This is a huge setback in certain workflows, e.g. when bringing 2D polylines to the elevations of a surface, it is converted into a 3D polyline and thus loses all the OD/PS data. This data has to be preserved, certainly in the context of BIM processes...

@AnonymousYes, this is related, but that topic focuses only to 3D to 2D. Since in Civil 3D you have conversion functionality in both ways, the MAPCLEAN function is not always a solution, because MAPCLEAN offers just a one-way solution...
