Working in 3D with COGO point data is cumbersome. It would seem the functionality of the Label styles have missed some coding. Setting the ORIENTATION REFERENCE for the point style to VIEW will allow the point marker to display properly in a 3D view, but the same setting for point label styles has no effect in 3D views.
It seems as though no one has corrected this in 2016 as of yet. Has anyone found any workarounds? The only thing i have found works is exploding and rotate3d to each point label.
This issue needs to be rectified by the developer. The problem has been around too long and needs to be fixed to allow the same functionality as a point marker. It is after all Civil 3D.
