Pipe Profile Label Default Position

Pipe Profile Label Default Position

When a profile view has a pipe that the center of the pipe is not within the station range of the profile view, the pipe label does not show. The profile view stationing has to be adjusted to show at least to the center of the pipe, drag the label to where it'll show at the proper profile view stationing, then adjust the profile view stationing back to what it was originally.

When a pipe label is added to a pipe in a profile view the label needs to be placed in the middle of the pipe as it currently is shown, not the geometric center of the pipe. Just make it show up in the view.

We routinely have profile views that need match lines as they won't fit on a single sheet at a visible scale.  This often results in a pipe crossing from one profile view to another.  if center of the pipe itself is not on the current profile view, then the label doesn't get added.  I have to temporarily change the profile view length, place the label, move the label and revert the profile view back to the proper length.

I'm referring to plan and profile of a storm or sewer pipe when I say this.
