Pipe network controlled by feature line

Pipe network controlled by feature line

I would like to dynamically link structure horizontal locations and the pipe invert elevation vertices to a feature line. This way pipes can easily be edited in the feature line elevation editor. There would need to be some sort of override if you wanted any of the pipes coming in or going out to be higher/lower. Something as simple as an additive or subtractive factor from the feature lines vertices.

I currently draw feature lines along my pipe networks so I can adjust the slopes and compare elevations to the natural ground. I then use the elevations to select each pipe and manually key the pipe invert elevations. This works but when anything changes you have to go back and manually change pipe elevations one by one. Manually changing elevations is a huge pain when you are checking for interferences and making minor adjustments.
