Hello all!
Now, i know there's been questions and ideas, but the topic is not pushed enough.
1. Enable object isolation similar to layer isolation, with all the settings aplicable. For example, fading instead of turning off. This would also help if the next point could be implemented.
2. Enable "bring back from isolation" for a selected objet. Even if the objects are not visible, you can still select them, and it would be great if you could bring them back. Just that one that you missed, or whatever number. Cause, if you miss or forget an object after 5 minutes of selecting stuff, it's a pain to uniso completly, the isolate again.
3. And this was mentioned elswhere, I'm sure, isolated object states. Civil 3d is a mess of layers, extremly dificult to pick and choose by layer od small scale, let alone larger projects. And even if you setup everything, there's object layers, and then there's object's object's layers. That's why I'm writing in C3D ideas board, not vanilla cad.
I'm sure there'll be more ideas in this direction, and by all means - fire away.
