Get Pipe and Structure Tables via API

I realize that there is already a Table object at AutoCAD level. But I'm talking about table at Civil 3D level. Currently there is no way to get ( let alone set) Pipe and Structure Tables via API. But I believe that it should be supported.

Some sleuthing: actually, there is already a Table class at Civil 3D level, and there are some derivative classes of it ( such as AlignmentTable). So it couldn't be too hard to extend it for Part/PressurePart Tables?
