It may be worthwhile to consider implementing functionality aimed at accelerating SAC performance during the development of complex assemblies. In particular, the following options could be useful:
1. Disabling the graphical preview.
The ability to temporarily stop the automatic update of the preview - "Stop Preview". This would allow working with complex designs without unnecessary performance overhead, especially with a large number of branches and conditions.
2. Disabling the preliminary recalculation of assembly logic.
The "Stop Calculation" or "Stop Counting" function could temporarily disable the automatic recalculation of subassembly behaviour with each change.
At the same time, it is important to retain the ability to select points, lines, and objects within assemblies so that the user can continue editing the assembly without causing a complete rework of the model.
Such a ‘recalculation pause’ mechanism could significantly increase the speed of work when creating and debugging complex subassemblies, especially in scenarios with multiple target surfaces, geological layers, and multiple conditional transitions.
The best option would be to freeze the view - Freeze Preview. So that the build would be visible in Preview.
