Faster selection of grading layer

When selecting grading layer, why don't you go directly to Layer selection (blue arrow) instead of taking the long way through Set grading layers and Object layer (read arrows)?

The same applies to layer selection when creating feature lines, and setting the layer for the surface when creating a grading.

I feel like this dialogue tree could be simplified somehow without losing functionality through every application its used in (pipe networks, alignments, etc) but I haven't put much thought into it at this time. Perhaps have the layer selection dialogue box open first, and allow a selection in that window to open the object layer dialogue box if you wanted to use layer modifiers for example.
