It shouldn't be linked to just invert but crown - outside edge of pipe...  in profile and or section view.

QUUX Already has this as an app on the Autodesk app store. It is very limited this way, for the free version, and I feel like it should just be implemented as a vanilla feature!

I would 2nd @matt_anderson_pe 's comment that it shouldn't be limited to flowlines. Using this to show vertical separation distance between to crossing pipes in profiles or cross-sections would be great.
