The Exportkml function has a flaw in the coding causes Google Earth to zoom the view out so the entire earth is visible.
When the kml .kmz file is generated the line <range>inf</range> is included in the file.
Can the function be corrected to zoom to a reasonable distance and not zoom out entirely?
Current Workflow:
- Run the command in C3d.
- Switch to Google Earth and open the .kmz
- File zooms out to space
- Zoom back to where your site is, back to the view you were at before you opened the file the EXPORTKMZ
- Expand all of the folders (1 folder for each entity exported)
- Move each entity into a single folder so they can be combined, adjusted, and manipulated
