Connect two or more pipes without a structure

It would be great if we could connect pipes without the need for a structure.  In particular, link connecting pipes to the main pipe without "breaking" the main pipe.

It would be very suitable to have this as a underlying functionality in the way we place laterals, to include a function to not break the pipe that the lateral connects to.

I concur with runR6TFG. In Scandinavia, we frequently employ service conduits that are linked to main conduits using fittings. However, this can present challenges in preserving the continuity of the main conduit when connecting service conduits, impacting both the conduit labeling and quantity lists in Civil 3D.
