I have been using Civil 3D since it was launched in 2005/6 and have always thought that what is missing is a Style Editor or Analysis tool.
For example I would like to know the following:
- Show me all the Styles that have been created or edited today, this week, this month etc
- Show me all the Styles that have been edited by a particular user
- Show me all the Styles that are different (by name not definition) between any two selected drawings.
Taking that a step further I would like to do the following:
- Add a prefix to all or a selection of Styles that can personalise them to a company
- Find all the references that a particular Style has
- List all the Styles with a particular name, prefix or parameters
All the information is there in the Style Properties and all I need is someone to pull that out for me.
