Autodesk Connector for ArcGIS - Cogo Point Marker Rotation

Autodesk Connector for ArcGIS - Cogo Point Marker Rotation

The new functionality for symbolization / stylization in the Autodesk Connector for ArcGIS in C3D 2024 is a huge step forward, but one thing that seems to be missing is an option to use a rotation or angle field from the property set / extended data to set the Cogo Point Marker rotation upon import.  Esri's ArcGIS for AutoCAD 420 uses the rotation / angle field for Cogo Point Marker rotation on import so I'm not sure why this functionality hasn't been included in Autodesk's Connector?  Maybe there could be an option in the import settings to specify the field to use for Cogo Point Marker rotation?  I think this would be a great addition.

Has there been any update on this?  It seems a bit strange to me that no one else that's bringing in point features through the Autodesk Connector for ArcGIS wouldn't require a rotation based on the GIS rotation/angle attribute/field.

Hi @dcbratvold. Unfortunately, I don't have anything new to share on this topic. Lately we've been focusing on workflows other than those in the Connector for ArcGIS, but we hope to get back to it soon.
