Allow Data-Referenced Volume Surfaces to be displayed in Volumes Dashboard

I often create Data Shortcuts to multiple volume surfaces for display use in other drawings.

It is currently not possible to add a data-referenced volume surface to the volume dashboard. The only work around is to data-reference the orignal base and comparison surfaces and re-create the volume surface, or of course, go back to each original drawing.

Please provide the ability to to allow data referenced volume surfaces to be used in the Volumes Dashboard.

Speaking of Volume Dashboard, anyone else _STILL_ waiting for the ability to SORT?

Well only 2 1/2 years later... I still have this frustration - surely it would be such an easy fix ???

Anybody from Autodesk want to comment?
