Alignment or corridor labels for surface cross slope

It is needed to label cross slopes of surfaces by alignment stations and critical points on plan view. This common everyday task requiers several workaround operations for automation. Please add surface cross slope option for reference text in the labels.

The issue I see here is the "Reference Text" is about selecting just one Profile. (terrain profile or design profile as you want).

So to do this task, we should select 2 profiles (terrain profile and the properly design profile) OR a surface (EG) and the design profile.

So I don´t know we can do this with "Reference Text".

Is not allowed selecting 2 profiles in the Alignment Label Set either whereas we can do it in a profile band.

Maybe it should be from another via.

The desirable reference label shoult be of type "line" to be able to read slope from surface or two points on surface(s) or profiles and then a calculation is displayed. So it would still be a reference type of label. I understand it is not possible with current reference text capabilities in alignment labels, but the functionality in one form or another is needed urgently. Maybe it's simpler to achive this as sample line or corridor link labels on plan, I don't know.

Last time I used feature lines and their labels to display cross slopes of a corridor surface. Created lines perpendicular to alignment, distributed with measure on the alignment, turned to feature lines with elevation from the surface (Civil objects can't be 'arrayed' or 'measured') and added line labels to the feature lines. I'd expect the process not to include creating extra drawing objects.

For me, what I am after, is like this.   I want the same label that you can place on a section view, on your corridor section to label the lane cross slope, to be able to be placed in the plan view, mainly during design, so I can see effects of the edits I make without having to scroll to section views or use the section editor.

Yes, that's basically labelling corridor links of a specific code on plan.
