3D swept path software develop

Hi Everyone,
I'm not a Civil3d user but my group is working on a standalone 3D swept program (some figures attached) for research purpose. We're thinking if this is any worthy to be integrated into autodesk family and put more efforts on it. Now we can obtain very accurate swept volume for any 3D objects (even soft objects).
However, it seems most customers are quite satisfied with 2D result. So, please help give some thoughts and advise if 3D sweeping has potential application. Thanks a lot.

I'm a little confused as to what you're posting.

Are you asking for help to do something?  If so, this is the wrong place for this posting.  This IdeaStation is for submitting feature requests specifically for features that we as users would like to see implemented in future versions of Civil 3D.

There is a forum for AutoCAD questions and even one specifically for working in 3d.
