Xref layer not appearing in viewport after adjusting LTSCALE

The title explains it all. I changed LTSCALE from 40 to 20, and it fixed the way the linetypes from the Xref appeared. But then, for some odd reason, I couldn't see the "X-TREELINE" layer in the viewport (It still shows up fine in model space). So, I quickly hit control+z, and undid the command, but that didn't fix it. I've checked all the setting related to layer freezing and hiding (including viewport freezing), linetype scaling, and I've made new viewports, reloaded the drawing, etc, but to no avail. Has anyone had this issue before, or have an idea what's causing it?

That was a fast fix, hah! A more experienced user in my office showed me that I had to set LTSCALE=1 for some reason. that fixed it though!
