Kimi,

Your Major and Minor Contours are set to use a Gray Color which might not show up well against the Black Background.

Also, your Surface seems a bit flat, so check Contour Intervals under the Contours Tab, and maybe set the Intervals "tighter".

Do you have a Surface? If you do. Can you show us the properties. If possible it would be best to post the drawing so it can be examined.

Shaza,

OK, thanks for posting your drawing.

What you have are Spot Elevation Labels. Here's a rough work flow to convert them to a Surface:

1. Select all of the Labels.

2. Explode twice.

3. Use "MoveTextToElevation" to assign an elevation to the text.

4. In your Surface Definition, use "Add Drawing Objects" and select "Text"

5. Stylize your Surface according to your taste.

Let me know if you have any trouble at any step. An alternate path would be to just explode the labels once and then add "Blocks to Attribute Elevation" to your Surface.

Shaza,

I thought I'd re-visit your drawing, and on the second opening your contours showed up with no problem. Other than changing the display colors I did nothing. No idea why.

Shaza,

I don't think there's anything wrong with your 2014 version of C3D. I think the problem is your Surface. When I "Rebuild" the Surface it breaks. It's probably that "Transform by" Edit. If I turn off that Edit all the Spot Elevation Labels turn to "???" and the Surface becomes unusable.

Is this a "hand me down" drawing or do you have the original data that created the Surface? This Surface definitely needs a "do over".

Shaza,

OK, your original file(X_SURVEY12.dwg) contains some nice contours which can be used to create a Surface. Here's some Screenshots of how I would start. Please let me know if you have trouble with any of these steps:
