Hi,

we have a project which has been done on a server  by a different office and now all the work to be transferred to our office.

the problem that the civil 3d files are connected together and create reference between files are available.
what is the best way to copy the whole project and put it on our server with the same hierarchy or it will not work.

as well if the projects drive with the same name and we put the project on our project driveit in the same structure would it work?

please advice

Appreciated!

Relative path used on the deliverers end would help a lot for xrefs. If not the reference manager can do multiple at once.

Data refs can be repainted using the Data Refernce manager.

Both can be found in your autocad cuvil3d collection at the start button

If you can keep the name of the server (or better a mapped drive) the same and copy the root folder and all sub folders as exists on the original server, the program will never know anything has changed.

Otherwise correcting things with Joe's methods isn't that bad.
