Why am I getting these circles on my profile labels?

I've attached a picture. On the right is a profile station label that was already in a drawing. On the left is one I just created today with the same style and no other settings changed. For some reason it is now putting a magenta circle around the origin point of the label, and I know this because if you change the label style to any other style without the tick mark the circle is still there.

And unfortunately, the circle also plots for some reason.

Why is it making these circles and how can I get rid of them? I went into the label style but can't find anything I can change that makes the circle go away. FWIW these were drawings that we had previously been working on with 2014 and we area now using 2016. I've never seen this issue prior to having the drawings open with 2016. I tried opening the drawing with 2014 but the labels still do the same thing.

those annoying little circles are makers.

you can select one of the labels and then use select similar (to get all of the labels)

then use the properties dialogue box and at the top you will see Marker Styel change that to none and enter.

circles should be gone.

problem is i do not know where in the billions and billions of styles that little cirtter is hidden

Thank you, exactly what I was looking for!

We did a lot of clean/purge/audit on these drawings recently and I'm guessing whatever style we had set before with these markers not displaying must have gotten reset or removed. Glad to know the fix!

Here is the setting.  Where it says "Marker Style" change the Basic to None.

The location to get to this setting is:

Settings in the Toolspace

 - Profile View

    - Commands

        - AddProfileViewStaElevLbl

@Anonymous  This worked perfectly.

I spent an hour looking for this setting under Settings tab in Toolspace -> Profile View -> Label Styles -> Station Elevation.  Who would have thought it was under Commands?!?
