Hi All,
I need some help to to work out the volume of attenuation ponds. I have 3 ponds that have been sized on foot print off a landscape plan and a depth is to be no more than 500mm deep and the sides are to be 1:2. I have produced them in Civil 3d what I now need to do is workout what volume they will hold.
Any idea how I can do this easy please as the foot prints are funny shapes?
Regards
Rich

Add a user contour at the upper water elevation you want to find the volume to. Extract the contour, convert it to a feature line. Create a surface for the water elevation and add the feature line as a breakline and as the outer boundary. Create a volume surface to compare the FG (as base) and water surface (as comparison) The fill cut volume should read as 0, the fill volume will be your pond volume.
Another option is to set your surface contour display on and use the stage storage tool, this will give incremental volume by the contour interval
