volume between proposed and existing surfaces

How to calculate cut/fill volume between proposed and existing surfaces (no alignments/corridors are involved) in C3D 2023?

Thank you!

Select either one of your surfaces and select the 'volumes dashboard' icon in the ribbon, this will bring up the dashboard where you can create a new volume surface (see screenshot). From here, you can set your base surface to the existing and comparison surface to the proposed, this will create a volume surface showing the cut/fill.

You can then use this button to generate a cut/fill summary if needed.

Hope this helps!
