Voided area in my surface

What would be causing this area of my surface to not fill in? There is no boundary or masked area in my surface. Void.jpg

I've had this happen to me when editing the tin lines (deleting in particular) to modify the surface boundary.  A few ideas that have worked to fix this:

  1. Select the surface (verify that the TIN lines are showing) > select Edit Surface in the Modify panel > select Add Line > draw the lines manually to connect through this area.
  2. If you have feature lines/polylines on the road/berm, try adding these to the surface again.
  3. If you made any edits previously, try removing them from the surface definition.
  4. If all else fails, you can generate a "patch" surface using your feature lines from #2, and pasting this surface into your surface with the hole.

Can you attaché the file so we can look at the structure of the surface definition?

Probably the tesslation methodology Autodesk uses that sometimes indicates a line shouldn't be added. I'd use a feature line or 3dpolyline at the end of the area not showing to get Civil 3D to triangulate there.
