Vertical Curves and Feature Lines

How do vertical curves translate to feature lines?  I have a vertical curve in a layout profile, but when I create a feature line from this profile, it seems to only have an elevation point for the beginning, end, and middle of the vertical curve.

Can you increase elevation points in a feature line so that it accurately reflects vertical curvature?

When you create a feature line from an alignment and profile combination, when that profile has vertical curves, the feature line needs to be tesseltated, as you've already figured out.

Adjust the mid-ordinate distance for a feature line with more or less elevaiton points.  The smaller this number the more points your feature will have.
