Updating and Reloading Boring Details

If I were to add a boring to my excel files, or edit an existing boring's details in excel, is there a way to update the AutoCAD file without reloading the entire excel spreadsheet again? Or is there a way to edit the boring's details directly in AutoCAD so it will update live?

Thank you.

Are you using the Geotechnical Module?

What data have you got, in what format and how are you bringing it into Civil

neilyj (No connection with Autodesk other than using the products in the real world)

Yes I am using the Geotechnical Module. I have boring data such as the location ID, type, easting, northing, depth, geology code legend code, etc. I put this information into Excel formatted correctly as a csv file. I then imported it in.

Thank you.

Just edit your CSV files and re-import, it checks for differences and just updates the changes.

A word of warning, don't change top and base depths as it will see it as new data and add it  to existing data.  in 2019, you can delete boreholes before re-importing.
