Unclosed Shape in Subassembly Composer

Hi,

I prepared a simple triangle including 3 lines (L1, L2, L3). Then I added a shape. But I couldnt define the shape as inside of this triangle. What is wrong with this simple work? I atached my sample .pkt file.

I am currently reading this on mobile and can't check the pkt but make sure that the links all use the same points at the vertices. If there are points that overlap you will need to make a link of zero length between them.

Thanks Kati,

Your message taught me a rule of preparing a shape. Infact I am working on a complex shape containing mix of links, curved links and intersection points. Some time interesting event occures. A shape that is in a flowchart, cant be closed when if its link's points defined in any previous flowcharts. Anyway I try to solve my problem with the tip that you adviced. Thanks so much again.

Your P4 is the problem...

Delete P4 and simply create a link from P1 to P3, then your Shape will appear.

Hi ekoneo!

Or add a link between point P1 and  point P4.

Add L4 in shape.

Please @ekoneo @KMercier_C3D KMercier could you take a look on my pkt. I am with the same situation but I already did everything i read on foruns and nothing. It is a Subassembly for guardrail. My shape 1 is ok but 2 says is not closed.

Hi KairoFilipe;

I searched something missing in your .pkt file.  You missed a only one link. I made same error before many times. Be sure all links are connected. However, if there is two points has same location, our eyes can't see zero length gap between these points. Because if unconnected points has the same location it is difficult to find this gap. I advice writing points name on a real paper then connect them carrefully. In your pkt P44 and P57 are not connected.

Best regards.
