Using the pc of someone who had civil 3d 2024 installed before i used it. I am unable to select two objects at once, if i select a second the 1st object deselects. This has to be a setting thing as no other pc i use Civil on has this issue. Does anyone know where i can change this setting?

The selection settings can be highly annoying when you jump on a computer which has different settings.

Hi Devin,

Thanks for posting. Please check the value of the PICKADD variable. It should be set to 2 to allow multiple objects to be added to the selection. You can set this by typing PICKADD into the command line and entering 2.

For more details, refer to this Autodesk support article: Objects are removed from the selection set when a new object is selected.

Let us know if this resolves the issue or if you need further assistance!
