Unable to Delete Surface Style in Template

I am trying to delete a surface style and it has the little yellow triangle that it is being used. I have checked my surface feature settings and corridor feature settings to make sure that the style is not being used as the default styles. Is there anywhere else that I should be checking?

Hi @JAY_00, the Purge option, which is in the Styles panel of the Manage tab, might help you get rid of that style. Best regards!

The surface style might be assigned to the surfaces feature default properties. Check these settings out on the "Settings" tab of the Toolspace > and the surfaces.

Sometimes when I'm building a Civil 3D template file, I will start with the complete blank default .dwt and drag and drop styles and settings from one file to another, using the toolspace > settings tab. Good luck.

I was just trying to weed some styles from my template and this comment was helpful. I can't figure out what some of the references are though or where I would go to remove them.
