UKIE 2018 Earthworks Subassembly Bug

To any users of the AutoCAD Civil 3D 2018 UKIE Country Kit.

Has anybody been able to get the default UKIE earthworks subassembly working with the "clear corridor bow ties" command.

I've attached a screencast showing the issue.

I've tried to get this subassembly to work with the command on multiple different drawings with different surfaces to target, different alignments & different profiles. The command just does nothing on this subassembly.

The weird thing is that the out of the box metric daylight subassemblies do work with the same corridors that I have been testing the UKIE earthworks with.

So clearly its a problem with that particular subassembly and not problems with any corridors that I'm using to test on. 

Any ideas of how I could fix this within either civil 3d or Subassembly Composer

I know there have been a few issues with the UKIE subassemblies. Have you tried reloading them into your tool palette?

I've also had problems with the clear corridor bowtie command with any subassembly that I import into civil 3d.

Any subassembly that I import from a .pkt file I cant use this command, any daylight subassembly that is preloaded with civil 3D seems to work fine.

So not really sure what is going on here, I'm thinking there must be some way that the sub assembly must be coded within SAC to make it obey this command.

For example the sub assembly "LinkSlopeToSurface" seems to work with the command in any situation that I apply it to. So I'm wondering how to replicate this within Sub Assembly Composer.

I can confirm this issue where the bow tie tool does not work for PKT imported sub-assemblies.

The issue was already reported to the development team and they are currently investigating for a possible cause and solution.

Hi Karsten-

This is encouraging that this will be addressed soon for C3D19 users.  What about all the folks running C3D17 and C3D18?  Can we expect a patch for these platforms as well?

Can you confirm that this was solved in more recent releases (2019, 2020?)? And are there any things the users need to know? Eg. is the fix in the actual C3D-software or in the subassembly composer software?

without testing myself, our database status for the issue shows it was fixed for Civil 3D 2019.1.
Please let me know if you still find issues with it.
