I am currently working on a drawing in which we have over 40 feet of elevation change on a single page. I was told that instead of stretching the vertical scale from our usual 1"=4' to 1"=10', we should attempt to split the profile horizontally. I am aware of how to split one vertically, as i have done that before, but do not know where to begin to split one horizontally. I am open to any and all ideas.
