Troubleshooting: error when trying to move COGO points by hold-click

When trying to click-&-drag a COGO point, left-click or right-click, I get an error message stating "Warning: An error occurred during save. We recommend that you run RECOVER on the drawing." Clicking 'okay' on the error message then moves the point(s) relative to where the cursor is. I can use 'enter' to close the error message and the point will go to where my cursor is, but I cannot use snapping functions this way.

Does this happen in every file you drag points in?  Why not use the move command if you really want to snap to a point? It might be possible that your drawing has some sort of corruption, or if it happens in multiple files you have created, that your template has some sort of corruption.  Have you tried doing the recover/audit/purge on the drawing?
