Transperant command does not work

At the "add breaklines" dialog box at the SELECT OBJECT COMMAND, I want to use 'LA command to turn off the layers other than breaklines.

But this command ('LA) doesnt work.

Please help

This behavior is as designed. While

Command: AddSurfaceBreaklines

is running, you cannot change any layers.

I prefer to select breaklines first, and then start command AddSurfaceBreaklines.

Then the previous selected objects are used as breaklines.

I agree with selecting or isolating first with this command.

 

Tips:

Select one fline, right click and choose select similar. Right click again and the menu will have an "Add Breaklines to Surface" command (selection must be flines only, nothing else). Rpeat as needed for all sites and/or layers you have breaklines on.

I try to use is.

So to isolite the layers of breaklines but can not do it

Layer Isolate will not work with most Civil 3D objects if your template is built like the NCS templates that hip with the product. The feature line has a default layer that is being over-ridden by the object style layer. In this case use the Select Similar and then the IsolateObjects command (also available as a button in the Status Bar).
