AutoCAD PDF (General Documentation) file is Huge

Hello all,

I have no clue where to go from here. I'm working with Civil 3D 2021 and printed out a basic grading sheet from the sheet set manager. The pdf file comes out to about 10.7mb. From two other co-workers stations the same dwg printed without any changes and both running C3D 2021 are 1.7mb and .8mb. We compared printed settings are they were all the same. What can be causing my files to so much larger??? Please help!!

I am in 2018, but did you check the custom properties? The vector quality & raster image quality?

Here's a scenario that could cause your issue: You have a complex truetype font file the others don't have. When AutoCAD opens the drawing on their workstations, it can't find your custom font, so it substitutes Simplex, a very lightweight font. If there is a lot of text in the drawing, your complex font could enlarge the pdf file size.

Also, are you sure you checked all print settings, including the Properties of the DWG to PDF.pc3? Maybe resolution is different or maybe font/geometry handling settings are different.
