Transformation Settings Resetting each time the drawing is opened.

Please help, Our GRID to SURFACE transformation settings are not holding to the drawing after it is saved and closed down. We will set the proper parameters in the Transformation Settings dialog box, hit apply, close and save..You are fine while working in the drawing but once you save close and reopen the drawing, the settings revert back to what appears to be a combination of State Plane coordinates and a lat and long equivalent. Also, the grid rotation angles are filled in with incorrect data. I have attached two screen shots showing what the settings should be and what is populated by C3D once the drawing is closed and re-opened.

I have searched the forums and found that some have fixed this with a reset of their profiles, but I am finding that not to work for me. In fact, the issue appears to run with the drawing and not the particular profile or workstation.

Thank you in advance for everyone's advice and help.

We updated to 2020 last week and this has become an issue.   Did you ever get a solution?

Still a problem... when will this be fixed? I've tried a new drawing using the standard acad.dwt template. I've also tried a new drawing using the Autodesk Civil 3D (Imperial) NCS.dwt. The transformation reset when reopening both drawings. Running Civil 3D 2020.

We do not have a solution but a work-around.  It seems related to the control point/points used for the transformation. We have had success by freezing the control point layer and it does not reset (sometimes)  past that,  we make our transformations for our control then shut them off.  We have to check them every time we re-open a drawing.

good luck
