Hi all,
Im trying to create a berm/ track at the base of an existing embankment. The track is 4 meter wide x approx. 1m depth with a slope 1:5 of one side and the other joining to the existing bank.
I've tried doing this by offsetting the toe line of the existing bank and using this to create an alignment for a corridor. The issue is, since i'm raising the toe line offset and re-joining it back to the embankment surface it is then greater than 4 meters as the embankment has a slope.
Is there a way i could possibly create a feature line from the toe line, raise this to the design height then drape it horizontally onto the sloped embankment then work of that?
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks!
I think I understand you correctly, but a picture is worth a thousand words. It sounds like you need to have a featureline as a target on the existing bank. I think it would help if we had a plan view of the situation and your corridor assembly to give you more accurate advice.
