Topsoil Stripping

Good day, 

I would like to know how to incoperate the removal of topsoil to a certain depth all through my alignment into my design so as not to have a short fall in my quantities. Thanks

Create a new surface called something like OSBORNE EG - Topsoil Removed.

Paste EG into this new surface. Use Raise/Lower Surface (_RaiseLowerSurface command) to lower the new surface the thickness of your topsoil. You can show cross sections of this in section editor and section views. You can use this surface to calculate volumes against other surfaces, either surface-to-surface comparison or cross section comparison.
