the feature line length is 1000 times the actual length in civil 3d

I am opening already drafted drawing in civil 3d. The length of feature line is 1000 times the actual length. I have tried changing the ambient setting to no avail. Has anyone faced same issue or can refer to some video for the same?

Sorry for confusion, the dimension in actual dimension pic is in mm so the elevation editor should match exactly but it is somehow multiplying by 1000

There is another setting you need to check Type UNITS at the command line and see if the units are set to mm. This setting affects plain Autocad functions such as dimensions, measurements, etc. You should also check your dimension styles to see if there are any multipliers being applied in the precision settings.

I'm with @Neilw_05. You might also want to check out AECDWGUNITSETUP this should be set to Meters.
