Using (or trying to) Windows 11 and C3D 2024. Both new-to-me within the last week or so.
I cannot get any apps from the Autodesk app store to show up on my Add-ins ribbon panel. I see only the App Manager on that panel.
I have .bundle files in a folder C:\Users\<username>\AppData\Roaming\Autodesk\ApplicationPlugins. I have them in several other folders, too, as I find references to folders they might like to be in with Google searches.
I have located the .msi files for the apps that I want and have launched the apps with no warnings. I copied the .msi files around and reinstalled several times. Nothing has worked.
I'm most concerned with getting some apps that I used with Windows 7/C3D2020 to run, and I'm hoping that they are compatible. So to test whether it was just old apps that I maybe can't use anymore, I purchased a (free) app from the appstore. It didn't show up on the Add-ins panel, but it is listed in the App Manager. It's not able to launch from the App Manager, but I can see it there.
I have one overlay (correct terminology?) that I use Sincpac. It is present in the App Manager as well, and is working properly. I uninstalled it as a test and was unable to see my legacy apps or my new one.
I have some Help tickets in with Autodesk on this, but I'm impatient. I'm here over the weekend needing to produce stuff. TIA, anyone that knows 'bout this.
