Text Components with Styles

Alright

I am not a Civil 3D Newbie, but this is driving me nuts.  I have a very robust Civil 3D Template (Metric) that handles everything I can throw at it.  It works for all my clients from one source.  We do 99.9% of our work in Metric.

Now I am being handed a job for a client that wants everything in Imperial (ughh) and I want to use my Metric Template as a start for an Imperial Template.

Just converting the Metric Template to Imperial Template does not work well as the styles text components do not change with Ambient settings.

ie: <[Station Value(Um|FS|P2|RN|AP|Sn|TP|B3|EY|W0|OF)]> when i want it to be <[Station Value(Uft|FS|P0|RN|AP|Sn|TP|B2|EN|W0|OF)]> etc... etc... etc..

Any way that I can dig into all my styles globally, not one at a time to simply change all the "Um" to "Uft" within these text components? I don't mind buying some software to do this.

John:

My opinion is that your project converting metric to Imperial equates to trying to push a rope up a roaring stream.

Perhaps someone may help.

Good luck,

Bill

First at all I don't know a way to do what you need.
But maybe you overestimate the time and effort needed to change all labels in your template. I think its 1 hour of work depending on labels no.
