Surfacing contour problems

I am trying to create a proposed road, I have got my alignment, and feature lines as standard breaklines.  But I keep getting contours in the middle of my road that look like holes.  I keep trying to swap edges but it doesn't get any better.  What am I missing?

To start off, I'd suggest removing all the swap edges (or at least uncheck them in the surface properties -- you can turn them back on later if you really want to).  If you're getting these funky contours, then there's something wrong with the corrdor itself and I really think you'd be better off trying to resolve that issue instead.  (like the doctors say:  treat the disease not just the symptoms).

Can you post your dwg file for review?  Someone should be able to help find the issue.

What version of C3D are you using (including SP# if there is one)?

Can't make out what the screen grabs are showing but assuming standard sub assemblies were used, did you add top links and check overhang corrections in the corridor surfAce definition tab?

Did you by chance add those feature lines to new surface or another surface already in the file? You want them in a new finished grade (FG) surface. If you need to blend EG in with the FG as I think your images show then create a thirs surface, paste in EG then paste in FG. OR Use the FG surface as a outer boundary on the EG surface.

I created a new FG surface and pasted in my EG surface then added the breaklines.  Are you saying to use the EG, create a second surface and just put in the breaklines, then create a third surface and paste the EG and breakline surface?
