Surface Display Indicator on AutoCAD screen

Hello.

Can somebody remind me what the indicator symbol represents in the upper left corner of the screen (close to my cursor) on the attached document?  I think it has something to do with a surface resolution display when it asked me to import a large xyz file recently, but I was wondering how you can switch it back to normal so it won't appear on my screen.

Thank you.

M,

I think that's "Level of Detail". You can toggle it on and off.

This is permanently off as it is more hassle than its worth
