Surface Appearing different Colours

Hu guys,

 

I am currently creating a large amount of surfaces on site and I am just curious to know if the surface is appearing a different colour is that signalling there's an error?

It looks like maybe your visual style has been changed from 2D Wireframe to something else.  With nothing selected look at the properties palette and at the bottom check the visual style and change to 2D Wireframe if it's something else. You can also change it with the controls in the upper left of the drawing window.

I looks like your surface is using a surface style that shows slopes.

 

Select the surface, right click and choose surface properties.

You can either change the surface style in use or edit it to turn off the display of surface slopes.
