Hi

would like to label Super elevation band in inches for rail types review

the whole design just uses just road corridors and no cant

using planar road methods and all is going well "great"

From what i seen so far is that standard corridor methods you can model

rail just fine.

Is there a way to add super labels going from Decimal to inches to the data band on the inserted image

via some expression

Edit the contents of your label style. You can change your units there.

Hi Tim

Up here in canuckastan everything is in meters

and you can show stationing in feet on a metric job

But super in decimal is a unitless item so i think i have to

add a basic calculation to the label style composer for super bands

<[Cross slope - Right outside pavement(FD|P2|RN|AP|GC|UN|Sn|OF)]> this is unitless so multiply by rail standard 56.5 inches should "hope"

give the total cross fall rail to rail

thus <[Cross slope - Right outside pavement(FD|P2|RN|AP|GC|UN|Sn|OF)]>*56.5=cant

Hi Peter,

If understand you correctly, you want to know if there's an expression to get the below to show in the band?

<[Cross slope - Right outside pavement(FD|P2|RN|AP|GC|UN|Sn|OF)]> this is unitless so multiply by rail standard 56.5 inches should "hope"

give the total cross fall rail to rail

thus <[Cross slope - Right outside pavement(FD|P2|RN|AP|GC|UN|Sn|OF)]>*56.5=cant

hi

Yes that,s is the goal but mostly  as a random text item somewhere on profile.

the shoulder extend all sub assembly works well but is not a lane structure item so a band label may not work ?

so a tracking label to monitor the super is the goal so a retro fit standard subassembly can used.

for rail design.

Thanks
