Subassembly to variable slope or to target Alignment

I want a subassembly, basically a link, that will target a Surface starting at 4:1. If it will touchdown before a target Alignment and Profile. Then increase the grade until it reaches 2:1. If it still hasn't met the surface it should hit the target Alignment at the Profile grade.

The target Alignment distance from the proposed back of sidewalk or back of curb varies greatly. So I can't use a standard offset.

Hi @AllenJessup

I this this could be done in SAC.

Using as input parameters the slopes and IF statements using the function IsValid for the targets.

It look like I'll have to use a Switch that tests different slopes until it finds one within the ROW Target alignment or if not will link to the target. I wish I could find a good example of using If in the switch. The Help is very vague and Switch_Example.pkt only uses an input parameter for a shape.

I say an example in a Youtube video. But, it only showed it for a moment. I'll keep looking.

I don't think I'll need the IsValid function since the target is complete for the whole corridor.
