Subassembly - Show Roadway view as Layout & add link to surface

Hello,

I have a subassembly attached which has a conditional cut/fill decision. The "Roadway" view looks clear to me, but I cant seem to find a way to get the "Layout" mode to match so that when I insert the subassembly into a drawing it looks more clear. Is there a way to set either the cut or fill condition as the "Layout" view default? 

Also, if you can help me add a daylight link to surface from the "Hinge" that would be helpful too.

Hi @greg888GP, I opened your file, and it seems to be OK. Could you please upload a sketch of how you aim for the subassembly to look when working in Layout Mode?

Furthermore, I'm curious. Could you please explain how you created them? I hadn't seen these before.

Which Subassembly Composer version are you using?
