Subassembly Composer - Logic of Multiple Shapes

Hi

I have a pkt file which has the same material in different locations.Somehow i can not give the same shape NUMBER for the same shapes but i need one volume calculation for all these same shapes in the cross-sections volume tables.

Is it just enough to name the same shape CODES for all these shapes and  does SAC consider all these shapes as one material in the cross sections and volume reports?

Thank you

You can not duplicate a number. Using the same code will tell Civil 3D to treat the all the same, just like for a road that you have a shape of Pave1 on the left and a shape of Pave1 on the right, it will add them together.
