Was wondering if this is even possible. I have attached a flared end section to a peace of pipe. The part in profile come in at the nominal height, which is ok because we only show the inside of the pipe on our profiles. I have the thickness visible just to help with clearances. The problem is the flared end attaches to the outside of the pipe and will not go any lower (see attached sketch). My questions is “is there a way to get the part to attach to the crown instead of outside of pipe. Have tried the two options when you edit the part (rim or sump) and no difference.
