I don't suppose there is a station tracker mode for sample lines and sample views? It's such a help in profiles, and would be equally as valuable for sample lines and sample views. Thanks.

Hi,
I think that no tracker currently. But you can select sample line, right click and go to section view. You can do this also for section view.

That's a great idea! You should post that in the idea forum.
I don't have a section handy but what happens if you draw a temp alignment over the sample line?

As an alternative, you could use the Corridor Section Editor (on the corridor contextual ribbon) to view the Plan and Corridor Section simultaneously! it will show you a corridor section and the associated tracker in plan view; granted you will not be looking at your plotted Section Views but you would still be able to review the corridor sections.
Hope this helps,

I usually have a global alignment in my drawing, with an accompanying profile view, that I can drag around to act as a sample line and sample view of sorts, and that does work. I was just hoping that a "station tracker" for sample line views was available as well. It'd be a lot cooler if it was.

Not exactly what you asked for but try this. In a split view showing section views in one and the alignment in the other, and station tracker on. When you hover over a section view in the section pane, it highlights the associated sample line on the alignment.

Any one know of an indicator for when the tracker is on?

This is what the normal station tracker does anyway.
I agree it would be great if there was a tracker that shows the cursor position in the section view on the sample line in the plan view and vice versa.
