I have a model of a proposed storm drain conveyance design that conveys storm water to a pump before discharging to an outfall.
It was working fine, producing average numbers of ~5 cfs at the pipe just before the pump.
Then, I noticed that the conveyance link shapes were a circular "Culvert" type and not "Pipe," so I changed them to pipes to match the CPEP we plan on having in this system.
After adjusting the shapes, I'm receiving peak flow values of 69 cfs at the pipe just before the pump in the Analysis summary window. However, when I check the Time Series Plot for the pipe in question, the peak value there is 11.35 cfs.
Also, when I change just the pipe in question back to a "culvert" type, not the rest of the system, I get values at ~5 cfs again.
Does anyone know what's going on here? I'm thinking that it has something to do with the pump.
Thanks.
