I get the following error message when trying to open a sewer model in SSA 2016 and 2018 that has previously worked just fine and hasn't had any changes made to it: "access violation at address 004bb717 in module stormsanitary.exe read of address 00000260".
I have seen previous posts about this but no solution seems to be offered.
I was having this error in the 2016 version of SSA and now our company has updated to 2018 but the same error is occurring.
Help?
Hi @Anonymous
My name is Pat and I am with Autodesk Technical Support. Have you tried making sure you have mapped the units and data correctly?
Hi
I am using SSA 2017 and I am getting this error. Is there a solution to this? I worked on this model all day yesterday and it worked fine and outputted fine. Now I cannot open it to edit anything.
The mapping error is a different error to this one
Please help! I don't want to have to re-do anything and then have this happen again
Thanks
Hi Pat,
I'm having the same issue as the OP. I didn't find the link you provided helpful as, (1) I didn't import using GIS, and (2) I could not determine where the Pipe Attributes Assignment's were so that I could check whether data fields and units were "mapped" correctly.
Could you please go in to more detail?
Thanks.
I'm having the same issue trying to open a SSA 2017 file in SSA 2019.
This was happening to me too and I finally figured out that if you open up a blank SSA document and then click the open button that has been working for me.
Pat do you know how to set the mapping units? For SSA? I do not know how to set mapping units. But I tried to load a DWG file into my SSA drawing yesterday and now my file comes up with the same error message everytime I try to open it.
I had this same error, it happened after I tried to add a background that didnt work. I dont know if that is similar to your situation, but heres how I fixed it. I couldnt open the file even after restarting my computer. I sent it to an associate to open the file on their computer, they didnt have the background pathed, so SSA asked him if he wanted to search for the background, and he selected "no" then resaved the file with a new name and sent it back. I could open it like before with no errors. It was all fixed.
